How to use the perpetual futures screener

Signals compares crypto, stock, commodity, FX, index and bond perpetuals using four adjustable weights: turnover, funding, momentum and open interest. It measures market activity now. Choose a time window, inspect the components, then adjust the weights to test a different screening preference. Funding and momentum contribute by magnitude; a high score is not a prediction that the price will rise.

Worked example: equal volume, different turnover

Illustration only: two markets each trade $10 million over 24 hours. With $5 million of open interest, Market A has a turnover ratio of 2. With $20 million of open interest, Market B has a ratio of 0.5. A has higher turnover, while B has more outstanding positions. The final score also depends on the other components and your weights.
